Revelation 12&13, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #222&223

*By the time I wanted to blog last night, my internet died and I was too lazy to wait until it went back on. So here is today's and yesterday's blogs..

PASSAGE: The Woman and the Dragon, the Beast out of the Sea, The Beast out of the Earth

MEMORY VERSE: "Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, do not be frightened." 1 Peter 3:13

NOTES: (12:1) "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head....Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads."
(12:5) "She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. ...And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough...The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray."
(12:13) "When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child...But the earth helped the woman...Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring--those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus."
(13:1) "And I saw a beast coming out of the sea...The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority..The whole world was astonished and followed the beast."
(13:5) "The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven."
(13:11) "Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf...And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men....he deceived the inhabitants fo the earth."
(13:16) "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name."
(v.18) "This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666"

ACT OF LOVE #222: Wrote a letter to my college friend & updated her on my life
Also, took a small step towards reconciliation with someone who used to be a friend via email.

ACT OF LOVE #223: Make a whole bunch of paper stars of all different sizes and colors for one of the little girls at my church--she absolutely adores paper stars (especially really tiny ones), but struggles with making them herself so she always asks me to make some for her. Cut up some of the informational booklets from colleges & used them for love!
