Revelation 16, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #226: ALL DAY

PASSAGE: The Seven Bowls of God's Wrath

MEMORY VERSE: "Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." 1 Peter 3:13

NOTES: Seven Bowls:
1st Bowl: "Ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshipped his image."
2nd Bowl: the sea turned into blood "like that of a dead man, and every living thing in the sea died" (v.3)
3rd Bowl: rivers and springs of water turned into blood. "You are just in these judgments, you who are and who were, the Holy One, because you have so judged; for they have shed the blood of your saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve"
4th Bowl: "The sun was given power to scorch people with fire" (v8)
5th Bowl: "The throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness"
6th Bowl: on the Euphrates river, whose water dried up. "...three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world."
"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed" (v.15)
7th Bowl: "The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the iar, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne saying, "It is done!"....No earthquake like it has ever occured."
(v.19) "The great city split in three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed."

ACT OF LOVE: Today was like a machine gun of love--there were just so many opportunities throughout the day! I'm going to just list them:
-Made copies for anyone who wanted registration/info sheets for the Mexico Missions, & announced it during Sunday School
-Encouraged a friend going through finals with a whole bunch of verses (1 Peter 5:7, 1 Corinthians 15:57, Matt 6:33-34, Romans 5:1)
-Offered to babysit 3 kids (2 girls, 1 boy) since they wanted to stay at my house after dinner while their parents went to church for a conference
-Offered to braid the 2 girls' hair into french braids, & them gave them my prettiest hairties (since I don't use them much anymore anyways). They loved it!
-Gave them juice, chocolate, and other goodies
-The boy I was babysitting suddenly got a huuuge stomach ache. It sounded like he was about to die right then & there or something. Made a make-shift heat pack by filling a metal water bottle with hot water & wrapping it in a towel so that he could put it on his stomach
-Made it a little better, but he wanted to shower so I gave him a towel & prepared a nice, hot shower for him. -Made a comfy bed out of the sofa & used extra pillows & blankets so that he could lie down & rest. Also let him wear my super warm fuzzy socks
-Sacrificed 4 hours of my night. Told funny/interesting stories to distract him while we were waiting for his parents to come
-When his parents came with his little sister, Ava, I made her day by giving her the stars that I had made earlier. [See act of love #223] She was SO FRAPPIN EXCITED. Her eyes widened & her entire face lit up when she saw the many different colors & shapes! It's the best feeling ever when you make a little kid happy.
-Finally, when all the guests had left, I decided to cleaned up after everyone (including the adults who had eaten at our house for dinner) before my parents came home. Finished in the nick of time. They arrived home minutes after I finished cleaning and didn't even suspect a thing about all the chaos that went on!
WHAT A DAY.
