Psalm 58, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #332

MEMORY VERSE: "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in human likeness, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place, and gave him the name that is above every name,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:1-11

NOTES: 1 Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
   Do you judge people with equity?
2 No, in your heart you devise injustice,
   and your hands mete out violence on the earth.
 3 Even from birth the wicked go astray;
   from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
4 Their venom is like the venom of a snake,
   like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
5 that will not heed the tune of the charmer,
   however skillful the enchanter may be.
 6 Break the teeth in their mouths, O God;
   LORD, tear out the fangs of those lions!
7 Let them vanish like water that flows away;
   when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.
8 May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along,
   like a stillborn child that never sees the sun.
 9 Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns—
   whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.[c]
10 The righteous will be glad when they are avenged,
   when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Then people will say,
   “Surely the righteous still are rewarded;
   surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

ACT OF LOVE: Today, I...
-Lent my "Tess of the D'urbervilles" book to my friend for class since she didn't bring hers
-Offered makeup to people who were lacking during the musical performance (eyeshadow, mascara, hairspray)
