3 Week Challenge, Day 6

Passage: Matthew 6 (Giving to the Needy, Prayer, Fasting, Treasures in Heaven, Do Not Worry)

Memory Verse:"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen" -Ephesians 4:29

Notes: (v.1) do not do "acts of righteousness" for men, or there will be no eternal rewards in heaven
-(v.3) give to the needy; do not let my "left hand know what my right hand is doing, so that my giving may be in secret"
-(v.6) pray in secret, and the Lord will reward
-(v.14-15) forgive as you have been forgiven by the Lord
-(v.21) where your treasure is, there your heart; do not store up treasures on earth, where "moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal"
-(v.24) no one can serve two master; you either hate one or love the other
-(v.26) "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable?
-(v.28) even Solomon in all his splendor was not dressed like the lilies of the field
-(v.33-34) "But seek first His kingdom and righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own"
-Which master am I serving?
