PASSAGE: Concluding Exhortations
MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
NOTES: (v.1) "Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it."
(v.4) "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
(v.8) "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
(v.9) "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them."
(v.13) "Let us then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come."
(v.17) "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority...Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you."
ACT OF LOVE: Today, I gave my friend most of my dried apricots because she liked eating them! Also, I helped my friends with the English homework when they needed it.
ALSO...for day 4 of the daniel fast, I bought some delicious salad from my school cafeteria! It was Chinese chicken, so I had to take out the chicken & the cheese =( But it was still deeelicious!
For dinner, I had leftover vegetables from yesterday and a bowl of rice.
