PASSAGE: The Incarnation of the Word of Life, Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness.
MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
NOTES: (v.2)The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.4 We write this to make our[a] joy complete.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."
ACT OF LOVE #201: PRAY: Prayed for my friend who has scoliosis and was going to get tested. Also, I listened to another friend who needed to rant. I offered her any advice I could give, and then promised to pray fr her! :)
ACT OF LOVE #202: Yesterday and today has been full of packing and moving into the new house. Today was the first official day living in my new house, so we had a ton of workers coming to paint the garage and move furniture. They had been here since 8am, and some stayed until 7pm-ish. In the middle of all the unpacking and re-organizing, I periodically brought the workers some ice cold Coke or water so that they wouldn't get too exhausted or hot from working all day. I was pretty exhausted just from unpacking and carry boxes all day--imagine how much more they would be tired doing much more than me! AND They were very nice people too!
