PASSAGE: Love and Hatred for Fellow Believers, Reasons for Writing, On Not Loving the World, Warnings Against Denying the Son, God's Children and Sin
MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

NOTES: (v.3) We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God[a] is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
(v.11) But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.
(v. 17) The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
ACT OF LOVE: Today, I tried talking to two newcomers in the fellowship and making them feel more welcome
Also, helped my mom with some of the unpacking and cleaning for our new homeeee.
