PASSAGE: False Teachers and Their Destruction
MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
NOTES: (v.1) "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who brought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves."
(v.12) "But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish."
(v.18) "For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who live in error. The promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.)

Also, I threw away my friend's trash when she forgot to, and had already left!
