PASSAGE: The Living Stone and a Chosen People, Submission to Rulers and Masters
MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
NOTES: (v.1) "Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good."
(v.11) "Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your souul. Live such good lvies among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us."
