NOTES: The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the LORD are right,

The commands of the LORD are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the LORD are firm,
and all of them are righteous.

than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,

in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.

LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Verse 14 definitely reminds me of the worship song. It's kind of cool to see how many worship songs are inspired by Scripture, often times word-for-word. This passage is a great reminder to see if the words out of my mouth and the meditations of my heart are in line with God's will and purpose. I pray verse 13, that He would "keep [me] from will willful sins; may they not rule over me." I can only change and grow through God, and it should be a constant prayer of mine to seek repentance and forgiveness of sins from God. Psalm 139:23-24!be pleasing in your sight,

ACT OF LOVE #257: My blogger was acting up & being funny yesterday so I couldn't post. ANYWAYS, my act of love was leaving a random encouragement online for my friend!
ACT OF LOVE #258: Today was kind of different because rather than actually doing an act of love, I initiated one! My friend was sad during class today because she forgot her lunch at home, so I offered to give her money to buy lunch. My other friend heard this and gave his money instead! She was super happy and thankful :)
