John 2, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #19: JJ BAKERY BREAD

Passage: Jesus Changes Water to Wine, Jesus Clears the Temple,

Memory Verse: "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."-John 1:3

Notes: (v.1-11) Jesus' very first miracle!
Jesus was at a wedding when his mother came to him saying that the wine was gone. At this, Jesus replied, "Dear woman, why do you involve me? My time has not yet come." His mother then told the servants to do whatever Jesus told them. He told them to fill the wine jars with water and to bring them to the master of the banquet. When the master tasted the water that had been turned to wine, he exclaimed that they have saved the best wine for last.
This was the first miracle that Jesus performed at Cana. His glory was revealed, and the disciples put their faith in him.
-(v.12-25) Jesus went to Jerusalem when he saw that in the temple courts men were selling and exchanging money. He became angry and cleared the tables and scattered the money, telling them to "Get these [doves] out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"
Jesus then said to destroy the temple, and he will raise it again in three days. The Jews did not understand that the temple Jesus spoke of was his body.

ACT OF LOVE: There seems to be a slight trend of me feeding my friends, because for my act of love today, I decided to bring my friend JJ Bakery Pastry before I left the house. She is usually hungry during 4th period, which is right before lunch, so today I thought I would alleviate some of that hunger by giving her some Asian pastries! She ended up sharing it with another hungry friend =) SPREAD THE LOVE <3
