PASSAGE: Timothy's Encouraging Report
MEMORY VERSE: "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity." Colossians 4:5
NOTES: (v.4) "In fact, when we were with you, we kept telling you that we would be persecuted. Ant it turned out that way, as you well know."
(v.7) "Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord."
(v.12) "May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones."
ACT OF LOVE: Today, I threw away my friend's trash without being asked at lunch.
Also, spent some time praying for some of my friends who are beginning their first year of college (specifically, also, for my friend Matt, who blogged about some prayer requests earlier).
