NOTES: (v.3) "It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him."
(v.7) "For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit."
(v.16) "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
ACT OF LOVE: TODAY, September 24, 2010, marks the five-month mark of my 365 days of love challenge! Wow time flies when you're lovin'!
Anyways, today for my act(s) of love....
-Got an extra CSF application for my friend who wanted one but didn't get one at Club Rush (who also texted me in the wee hours of the morning asking me for one...LOL)
-Spent some of the time before friday service started to try to talk to one of my VBS kids who was sitting alone on the sofa. He mainly was preoccupied with his mother's phone, but we still talked a wee bit!
-Lowkey threw away my friend's food trash on the table as I was leaving
