Galations 1, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #130: REGISTRATION

PASSAGE:  No Other Gospel, Paul Called By God

MEMORY VERSE: "You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which was being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on a new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness" Ephesians 4:22-24

NOTES: (v.6) "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel--7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ."
(v.10) "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If i were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
(v.11) "I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ."
(v.23) "They only heard the report: 'The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.' And they praised God because of me."

ACT OF LOVE: When my alarm rang at 7:10am this morning, I was seriously tempted to go back to sleep.
Earlier, I had agreed to help out with the freshman registration at West (so I had to be at school by 7:45), but upon waking up this morning, getting out of bed was the last thing I wanted to do. In fact, I was genuinely considering going late or not going at all because I had woken up with a headache and a bad mood. However, after 10 minutes or so of deliberation, I finally forced myself to get out of bed.
I helped out with the Freshmen registration from 7:45am-11:45am ish: 4 hours of filing, alphabetizing, and sorting! I did the best I could with helping out, and didn't leave until everything was all squared away. YAY FRESHMEN!
