PASSAGE: Thanksgiving and Prayer, The Supremacy of Christ, Paul's Labor for the Church
MEMORY VERSE: "Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the world of life--in order that on the day of Christ I may boast that I did not run or labor in vain." Philippians 2:14-16

ACT OF LOVE: Today, I received an email from my friend Mark who is training to be in the military in Georgia. He is going to go to Kenya in December with a team of missionaries to do God's work and to minister to the people of Kitui (the village he's going to). In the letter, he asked for both financial and prayer support/feedback. I immediately responded to him and encouraged him, and asked him about some of the financial stuff. During Barnabas today, we also prayed collectively as a group for him and his team as they begin their work. I also made the commitment to try to pray for him daily during my QTs, as well as regularly during Barnabas (and with any financial support I can give). Please pray for Mark; that they'll receive the supplies, financial support, and be readily equipped in the gospel for these people!
