Philippians 2, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #143: WAIT

PASSAGE: Imitating Christ's Humlity, Shining as Stars, Timothy and Epaphhroditus

MEMORY VERSE:"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the univesre as you hold out the world of life--in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or lbaor for nothing." Philippians 2:14-16

NOTES: (v.3) "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
(v.5) "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross!"
(v.14) "Do everything without complaining or arguing, sot hat you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the univesre as you hold out the world of life--in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or lbaor for nothing."

ACT OF LOVE: Today, I spent 10+ minutes waiting for my friend during lunch because we usually walk to lunch together. Even though I was hungry and was tempted to go ahead without her, I waited until she was released from her class so that we could get lunch together!
