Colossians 4, 365 DAYS OF LOVE #150: LISTEN

PASSAGE: Further Instructions, Final Greetings

MEMORY VERSE: "Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you will shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life--in order that on the day of Christ I may boast that I did not run or labor in vain" Philippians 2:14-16

NOTES: (v.2-6) "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chians. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, sot hat you may know how to answer everyone."
This is a prayer request that I need; that I may be "watchful and thankful" and that "God may open a door for our message." Pray that I'll see every opportunity as precious and a chance to glorify God, so that I'll be wise in my actions and "make the most of every opportunity."

ACT OF LOVE: My mom came back from Detroit last night. She was at a few churches in Detroit and Ohio this weekend as the guest speaker for a weekend conference they had. I took some time today to ask her how it went and listen to some of the amazing experiences she's had over there. I (and Barnabas) had prayed for her this weekend, and it was super encouraging to hear God's answer to our prayers! What she shared was pretty amazing, and she definitely felt the support of prayer with her during her time at Detroit. She came back exhausted, but very excited! Praise God!
